FAQ

Can an amendment be created for a temporary staffing agency contract?

No, amendments do not apply to temporary staffing agency contracts.

How do I modify the trial period?

Trial period modifications must be made directly in the contract, without going through an amendment.

What should I do if I cannot create an amendment?

Check that all pay periods since the contract start date are unlocked. See Lock or unlock a pay period.

What is the difference between a permanent amendment and a one-time amendment?

A permanent amendment modifies the contract indefinitely (job title, salary, working hours, conversion to CDI). A one-time amendment applies for a defined period, with a start date and an end date.

What should I do if the amendment fields are greyed out?

This means the pay periods are locked. To create or modify an amendment, all pay periods since the contract start date must be unlocked.

How do I correct an error in an active contract vs. formalizing an actual change?

To correct an incorrect entry (e.g. a data entry mistake): Actions > Declare a change > Correct contract information. To formalize an actual change (e.g. a salary increase): Actions > Declare a change > Create an amendment. In both cases, all pay periods since the contract start date must be unlocked.
