How to Add a Bonus or Advance for Employees?

Add a bonus or advance in just a few clicks from the employee profile or payroll report in Combo.

How to add a bonus or advance from the employee profile

  • From the profile → Contract:

    • Click Add bonus or advance

    • Select the applicable contract

    • Enter the type and amount

    • Specify the effective date

    • Save

The bonus appears automatically in the payroll report for the corresponding period.

💡 If the payroll period is already created, it must be unlocked. You can then edit or delete the bonus from the same screen.


How to add a bonus from the payroll report

From Reports → Other payroll items:

  • For a single employee: click on their box, choose the bonus type, enter the amount, validate

  • For several employees: tick the relevant profiles, click Add bonuses / advances, fill in info, validate

💡

  • The bonus is automatically dated to the last day of the payroll period.

  • You can manage bonuses using the icons: + (add), ✏️ (edit), 🗑️ (delete)

  • If you delete a payroll period, the bonuses remain in the employee’s profile and will be carried into the newly created period.


Where bonuses / advances appear

Bonuses and advances added show up in:

  • The accounting export

  • The EVP export

  • The export compatible with your payroll software (if integrated with Combo)
