General rules
You can only delete a contract if it is upcoming or past.
An ongoing contract must first be changed to “past” or “upcoming” before it can be deleted.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
How to delete an upcoming or past contract
Open the employee’s profile
Go to Contracts
Click on the upcoming or past contract
Scroll to the bottom of the page
Click Delete

Only an admin can delete a past contract.
Even if payroll is locked, deletion is still possible for a past contract. For ongoing or future contracts, payroll periods must be unlocked first.
How to handle deletion of an ongoing contract
An ongoing contract cannot be deleted directly. You must:
Convert it to “past”
Open the contract
Click Actions > Declare a change
Choose Rectify contract information
Modify the end date so that it is before today
Save
Once the contract is in “past”, follow the procedure for deleting a past contract
