How to create an employment contract
To enter a new contract:
Open the employee’s profile in Combo
Go to the Contracts section
Click Create a contract
Fill out the Contract tab (general information, dates, contract type) and the Payroll tab (salary, payroll settings)
Click Save
💡 Where the contract appears ?
Under Current contract, if it is active or starts today
Under All contracts and amendments, if it will start later
How to modify an active contract
Prerequisite: to modify a contract that has already begun, you must unlock the payroll periods from the contract start date until today.
Open the employee’s profile in Combo
Go to the Contracts section
Click Actions
Select Declare a change
Pick the option that suits your need:
Rectify contract information to correct an existing data point
Create an amendment to specify a temporary or permanent change (e.g. change of working hours, role, etc.)
Click Next
Edit the necessary fields
Click Save
