What are the requirements to validate a shift?
Before getting started, make sure the following three prerequisites are met:
Manager permissions: Your profile must have the option "Can edit published schedules and validate shifts for their establishment" enabled in your access rights.
Schedule publication: The schedule must have been published from the web version beforehand.
Time period: Validation is only possible for past days.
How to read hour discrepancies?
To help you spot hour discrepancies at a glance, Combo uses specific icons and colour codes:
| Hour in black | Hour in colour |
Orange icon 🟠 | The employee declared the correct time (matches the planned schedule). | The time declared by the employee does not match the planned time (e.g. 8:30 instead of 9:00). It appears in orange. |
Green icon 🟢 | The shift was validated at the correct time (matches the planned schedule). | The shift was validated with a modified time that does not match the time originally scheduled. It appears in green. |
