What are schedule counters for?
Schedule counters let you compare the contractually expected working time with the time actually scheduled or worked.
They are essential for:
Spotting discrepancies: late arrivals, overtime, absences…
Ensuring reliable payroll exports
Complying with legislation and your collective agreement (maximum durations, rest, modulation, annual smoothing)
In short: they’re your control indicators to prevent payroll errors.
What are the 3 types of schedule counters?
In the Schedule tab, you find 3 different counter types by clicking on the 🔢 icon.

💡 Things to know about the monthly cumulative difference:
The monthly cumulative difference only works for weeks with at least one scheduled shift or planned absence.
If your payroll period ends during a month and you have not yet created the next payroll period, then the monthly cumulative difference will be calculated from the day after your payroll period to the last day of the calendar month.
Example: If your payroll period ends Sunday the 25th, but you haven’t yet made the next period, then the cumulative difference for the next week will be based from the 25th to the 31st, then resume from the 1st to the 31st of the following month.
How to read the schedule counters’ color codes?

Red 🔴 | Contract exceeded | The employee has been over-scheduled. The hours shown correspond to: |
Orange 🟠 | Contract not reached | The employee is under-scheduled. The hours shown correspond to missing hours. |
Green 🟢 | Contract respected | The sum of worked hours and absences matches exactly the contract time. |
How to track the compensatory rest counter?
This counter shows the total balance of rest hours owed to the employee due to overtime. This counter corresponds to the global balance for your employee; it does not adapt depending on which week is being viewed.
