How to declare your worked hours from the Combo mobile app?

The Combo mobile app lets you confirm or adjust your actual working hours at the end of your shifts, so they can be sent to your manager for payroll preparation.

This article is intended for employees, as well as managers and directors who do not have the permission to edit published schedules and validate shifts for their establishment.

Your hours match the scheduled plan

Use this if you worked exactly the hours that were scheduled.

Go to the My Shifts tab:

  • Select the relevant shift.

  • Click Yes when asked "Did you work these hours as scheduled?". A Shift declared icon appears to the right of your shift: the action is complete.

Your actual hours differ from the scheduled plan

Use this if you arrived earlier, left later, or if your break times changed.

Go to the My Shifts tab:

  • Select the relevant shift.

  • Click No when asked "Did you work these hours as scheduled?".

  • Adjust your actual hours: enter your exact start time, end time, and the break and meal times actually taken (if the option is visible).

  • Add a comment (Optional but recommended): Write a brief note for your manager (e.g. "Stayed 30 minutes longer to help with closing").

  • Click the "Declare" button to submit your hours. A Shift declared icon appears to the right of your shift.

  • Required access condition: For an employee to see these options on their phone, the employer must have enabled the following setting on the web interface: Configuration > Establishments & Schedules > Scheduling tab > check "Employees can enter their actual hours".

  • Activation rule (If the option is not visible on the phone): Access to hour declaration is not automatic. For an employee to see these options, the employer/administrator must enable the following setting on the web version: Configuration > Establishments & Schedules > Scheduling tab > check "Employees can enter their actual hours".

  • Edit rule (If the user made a mistake): As long as the shift is simply "Declared" (icon visible), the employee can edit their entry in the app. If an employee made a mistake but the manager has already validated the shift for payroll, the mobile app will block any further edits. In that case, the employee must contact a manager to have the correction made.
