How to record an absence from the schedule?
From Schedule > Employee/Month view:
Click on the desired slot
Select New absence
Enter:
The type of absence (vacation, sick leave, training, etc.)
The relevant period (date and/or time slot)
A note (optional)
Click Save
What happens if a shift is already scheduled?
If an employee had a shift planned on the day of their absence, you can choose to:
Delete the shift
Unassign the employee from the shift
Keep the shift (it remains visible in the schedule, but the absence takes priority)
What if the absence falls on a rest day?
If the absence only covers rest days → no impact on payroll (0 hours deducted).
If an absence covers both working days and rest days:
Working days are counted in payroll.
Rest days are not deducted.
