When an employee is late, you have two choices :

  • Deduct the delay from the pay : the employee does not have to make up for the delay later and it is notified on their payslip.

  • Don't deduct the delay: the delay does not show up on his pay, not penalizing your employee. The delay can be caught up later, in agreement with the manager.

Deduct the delay from the pay

You have the possibility to activate the salary deduction following a delay of one of your employees if these delays are recurrent and you wish to specify it on their payslip.

This is possible as long as your schedule is published and the day is over:

  • Click on the shift and fill in the actual worked hours

  • Check the box "late with salary deduction".

  • Validate

The delay will appear in your payroll, in the "Late" column of the Absences tab:

If you do not wish to deduct the delay from your pay, simply note the actual hours worked, without checking the "Late with salary deduction" box.

No need for an additional action !
