How to configure night hours?

Go to Configuration:

  • Go to Collective agreement.

  • Choose your collective agreement.

  • Select your APE code.

  • Click on Save.

Night hours depend on your collective agreement. For them to be properly taken into account, configure the agreement with the correct specificity from your account.

💡

  • Each collective agreement defines default night hours.

  • Some agreements may have several.

  • Depending on your needs, you can choose the agreement with the default night hours or add your own specificities.

  • In the collective agreement rules, you can consult the applied night hours and their premium rate.

  • If your night hours are not in the list, contact support via chat or by email at [email protected] to have them integrated.

How do night hours appear in the payroll report?

Go to the Reports tab:

  • Go to the relevant payroll period.

  • Click on the establishment.

  • Refer to the Night X% column.

When your employee works night hours, they automatically appear in the Premium worked hours section of your payroll report.

How are night hours calculated?

By default, hours worked after midnight are automatically counted on the following day.

Examples:

Colette works from 11 PM to 4 AM on Thursday:

  • 11 PM - 12 AM → 1 hour counted on Thursday.

  • 12 AM - 4 AM → 4 hours counted on Friday.

Thibault works from 10 PM to 3 AM on Sunday:

  • 10 PM - 12 AM → 2 hours counted on Sunday.

  • 12 AM - 3 AM → 3 hours counted on the following Monday.

💡

  • Hours worked after midnight on Sunday are automatically carried over to the following week.

  • You can modify this setting so that hours worked after midnight are counted on the shift start day.

  • To do so, contact support via the chat bubble or by email at [email protected].
