Manage access and scheduling for different teams and locations for a current contract

On Combo, you can choose the locations or teams for which your employees can see the schedule or be planned on.

As a default setting, your employee will only have access to the team they are scheduled on.

Let’s look into details about how to give your employee access to the schedules of the other teams !

Giving access to various team or location schedules

Go to your employee's profile > Time and scheduling tab :

  • Click on "Edit access" in the Team access section

  • Select the location and/or team to which you want them to have access to

  • Save

Good to know :

  • Depending on the employee’s role, they will have different access :

    • An employee : can only see the teams they have access to

    • A manager : can see the teams and have the same managerial rights as the ones they have access to

    • A director : can see all the teams for all the locations they have access to

    • An admin : as a default setting, they have access to all the locations and teams

  • It’s possible to have access to a team or location without being scheduled on it or without a current contract.

  • Click on "Edit Information" in the Display on the schedule section

  • Select the location and/or team for which you want them to be scheduled on

  • Save !

Good to know :

  • You can only be scheduled on a team or location, to one you have been granted access to.

  • The option "Display on schedule" enables you to hide this profile from the schedule. We will explain it all right here 👈
