How to lock a payroll period
Locking prevents any modifications to the schedule and contracts during that period.
From Reports:
Tick the desired period (or use the master selection)
Click Lock
💡 Once the payroll period is locked:
Schedule: days are frozen and non-editable (🔒 icon)
Contracts: working time, specifics, and start date are locked (greyed out + lock icon)
To modify a contract, you must unlock all the payroll periods from the contract start date until today.
How to unlock a payroll period
From Reports:
Tick the desired period (or use the master selection)
Click Unlock payroll period
Repeat the action if multiple pages of periods are concerned

Only admins and directors can lock/unlock.
Unlocking is temporary (24h).
To modify the dates of a period, you must delete it and then recreate it.
