Sending documents for my employees to sign electronically

As an employer, when you take on a new member of staff you have to go through a number of administrative tasks. Combo enables you to save time and send the contract to your employee by email for e-signature.

Good to know : The e-signature of the documents is only accessible to directors and admins.


Sending documents for signature from employees profiles

Head to your employee's profile > Documents tab :

  • Click on “Sign the document electronically” : you will be able to pre-visualize it to make sure everything is in order !

  • Select “Send for signature” to directly select this employee as a signatory

  • Select all the employees that have to sign the document (up to 💯!)

  • Choose to invite signatories to sign one after the other. If you tick the option, then the order of signatories chosen will determine the order for signing. The 1st employee on the list will be the 1st to sign.

  • Program or not an automatic reminder after a certain number of days: 1, 7 or 14 days.

You will find the list of documents sent for signature with the list of signatories, the date sent and the status. Once the document has been signed by everyone, you will receive a confirmation e-mail and can download it ! 🥳

Good to know : You can cancel a signature request from the Documents tab > click on the document > "Cancel signature request".
You can choose to delete the document directly from the employee's profile at the same time.


Sending documents for signature from the HR tab

  • Click on “New signature request”

  • Name your document and add it, in PDF format (5Mo max)

  • You can assign the document to one employee, it will automatically be added to his ‘Documents’ section !

  • Import to open the window to launch the signature

  • Select “Make your employee sign” so they directly appear as a signatory.

  • Select all the employees that are due to sign the document (up to 100 !)

  • You can choose or not for the signatories to sign after each other. If you select this option, the order in which they are on the list will determine how they sign. 1st name on the list will be the first one to sign.

  • You can choose to send an automatic reminder after a set number of days.

Good to know : You can cancel a signature request from the Document signing tab > click on the document > "Cancel signature request".
You can choose to delete the document directly from the employee's profile at the same time.


Following up the documents' signature

To follow up on your document, you can check its status :

Signed

All signatories have signed the document, you can now download the document !

In progress

At least one person still has to sign the document. If you haven’t selected the automatic reminder, click on 🔄 to send another e-mail !

Failed

The document has not been sent to the signatories (ie. over max document size). You will have to recreate the document to send it again for e-sign

Good to know : From the HR > Document signing, your managers and admins can download proofs of signature !

These proofs justify the signature process and validate the electronic signature!

You can also filter by status and establishment.
