Add an amendment to an employee’s contract to formalize a temporary or permanent change directly from their employee record.

How to Create a Contract Amendment?

1. For a Permanent Change

  • From the employee’s record, click on “Actions” then select “Create an Amendment.” By default, it is considered permanent.

  • Enter the effective date and update the relevant fields: working hours, working days, gross monthly salary, job title, or qualifications.

  • Save to apply the change.

2. For a Temporary Change

  • From the employee’s record, click on “Actions” then select “Create an Amendment.”

  • Check the “Temporary” option.

  • Enter the effective date and update the relevant fields: working hours, working days.

  • Save to apply the change.


How to Convert a Fixed-Term Contract to a Permanent One via an Amendment?

If an employee moves from a fixed-term or seasonal contract to a permanent one, you can create an amendment to formalize the change.

  • From the employee’s record, click on “Actions” then select “Create an Amendment.”

  • Enter the effective date, add any necessary modifications, then check the option “Convert the contract to a permanent position.”

Please Note:

  • Contract details (e.g., working hours, job title) are automatically updated on the effective date of the amendment.

  • All created amendments are visible in the “All contracts and amendments” tab under the Contracts section.
