Create or modify a contract

Nothing is easier than creating or editing a contract than on Combo ! Here is the guide to doing so !

The information filled out in your employee's contracts on Combo is essential to optimize its use. These elements will have an impact on the staff register, your scheduling, payroll calculations as well as the payroll ratios. 💡


Creating my employee's first contract

Head to your employee's profile > Contract tab :

  • Click on "Create a contract"

  • Fill in the elements in the contract and pay sections

Good to know : If the contract starts at a future date, it will be filed in the History section. If the contract has already started or is starting on the same day, it will be displayed in the Contracts section.

  • Save


Modifying a current contract

Head to your employee's profile > Contract tab :

  • Click on the "Actions" button

  • Select "Edit the contract"

  • Edit the desired information on the contact

Good to know :

  • If the information in the contract is within a locked pay period, you will have to unlock all the pay periods to the contract start date !

  • This will amend the information in previous payroll reports

  • Save
