By default, access to the paid holiday configuration is only available to admins. However, there is an option to give access to managers and/or directors. Let's take a look !

The option is in two parts.

Viewing the paid leave counters

Head to Settings > Preferences > Personnel Management :

This access allows directors and managers to only see the paid leave table, but not to act on it.

Managers and directors are clearly separated.

So you can give access to the paid leave counters to directors only or to managers only, or both!

Select what you want and don't forget to save !

Good to know : If the option "Allow directors to access the HR Dashboard" is disabled, the directors will only be able to access the paid leave counter in the HR tab.

Allowing the modification of paid leave counters

For this option to be available, managers and directors must have acces to paid leave counters first !

Head to the profile of the manager (or director), profile, in the "Permissions and Acces" section :

This access enables managers and directors to modify the counters on the paid leave table.

👉Managers only have access to the counters of the teams to which they have access in the "Access management" section of their profile.

👉Directors only have access to the counters of the locations to which they have access in the "Access management" section of their profile.

Good to know :

  • This option can only be viewed by admins. A director will not see this option in a manager's profile.

  • If the users' role in Combo changes, this right will automatically be disabled. You will have to reactivate it.

That's it! Your operational team can now access the counters.
