The Public Holidays tab in your payroll report
Go to Reports > Your payroll period > "Public Holidays" tab :
Hours worked on a public holiday by an employee who meets the seniority requirements set by their collective agreement will appear in the "Public Holidays" tab.
By default, these hours are marked as "To be paid." You can easily convert them into rest hours by clicking the 🔄 button or by entering the number of hours to be allocated in the "Balance" column.
Good to know :
The overtime applied to hours converted into recovery time depends on the pay scales of your collective agreement.
Hours are always displayed in decimal format.
Any deletion of a payroll period will result in the removal of modifications made to the Public Holidays tab.
These changes can only be made to the current payroll period and the one immediately preceding it.
Once hours have been converted into recovery time, they are added to the "Public Holiday Recovery Balance," which can be accessed in your employee's profile > "Leave and Absences" tab and in the payroll export.
And to reduce your employees' balances ? Simply create an absence for public holiday recovery directly on the schedule !
Modify your employee's holiday recovery balance
Go to your employee profile > "Leave and absences" section > Public Holiday Rest :
Click on "Modify manually"
Enter the number of hours to be added to or deducted from your balance in decimal form
Put a - in front of the number if the hours are to be deducted
Save
Note : Once the entry has been saved, it is final. If an adjustment is required, simply create a new entry to rebalance the balance.
And that's it! The counter is updated to the date of the change!
