How to convert public holiday hours to compensatory time off

  • Click the button to convert all qualifying hours into compensatory time off

  • Or enter manually the number of hours in the Time Off column

💡

  • Hours are shown in decimals (e.g. 2h30 = 2.5h)

  • Any additional pay (premium) required by your collective agreement still applies

  • You can modify only the current payroll period and the immediately preceding one

  • Deleting a payroll period erases all modifications related to public holiday hours

Once converted, the hours are automatically added to the “Public Holiday Time Off” balance:

👉 To use these hours, create a leave of type “Public Holiday Time Off” directly from the schedule.


How to manually adjust the public holiday time-off balance

  • Click Edit manually

  • Enter the number of hours to credit or debit (in decimals)

    • e.g.: +2.5 to add 2h30

    • e.g.: -3 to subtract 3h

  • Save

💡 Once saved, the entry is final.
To correct, simply create a new entry later to re-balance the balance.
