Why configure an automatic meal allowance?
Assigning a default meal allowance to each shift allows you to:
- Save time when creating schedules. 
- Avoid manual mistakes. 
- Keep data consistent in payroll exports. 
How to enable automatic meal allowances for all locations
From Settings > Preferences:
- Enable the option Count one meal per shift by default 
- Click Save 
💡 This option is global : it applies to all your locations.
How to select the meal type per location
From Settings > Locations & Schedules > Your location:
What happens once the option is enabled?
- Each new shift created in the schedule will automatically include 1 meal by default. 
- You can still: - Change the meal type 
- Remove the allowance if it doesn’t apply 
- Add multiple meals if needed
