Why configure an automatic meal allowance?
Assigning a default meal allowance to each shift allows you to:
Save time when creating schedules.
Avoid manual mistakes.
Keep data consistent in payroll exports.
How to enable automatic meal allowances for all locations
From Settings > Preferences:
Enable the option Count one meal per shift by default
Click Save
💡 This option is global : it applies to all your locations.
How to select the meal type per location
From Settings > Locations & Schedules > Your location:
What happens once the option is enabled?
Each new shift created in the schedule will automatically include 1 meal by default.
You can still:
Change the meal type
Remove the allowance if it doesn’t apply
Add multiple meals if needed
