How to set up clock-in options?

“For real hours pre-calculation, prefer actual clock-in time over scheduled time”: The real hours pre-calculation will follow your chosen preference.

“Arrival time tolerance (up to 20 min)”: Apply a grace period to absorb minor early or late arrivals.

“Round clock-in times to the nearest 5 minutes”: Round clock-in and clock-out times to the nearest 5 minutes (up or down).

“Enable photo capture at clock-in/out > random control”: Activates photo capture randomly, for occasional identity verification. This is the default setting and complies with CNIL recommendations.

“Enable photo capture at clock-in/out > strict control”: Forces photo capture at every clock-in/out.

“Require a comment if employee is early, late, or clocking in without a scheduled shift”: Lets employees add a note during clock-in (e.g., delay, absence, clarification).

“Enable breaks on Combo Timeclock” + “Allow employees to record meals”: Employees can clock in their breaks or meals if enabled.

“Include salaried employees under a fixed-day contract in the clock-in list”: Allows fixed-day (forfait jour) employees to clock in.

“Allow employees without a scheduled shift to clock in”: Authorizes clock-ins even without a shift in the schedule.
