As an employer, when you take on a new member of staff you have to go through a number of administrative tasks. Combo enables you to save time and send the contract to your employee by email for e-signature.

Good to know : The e-signature of the documents is only accessible to directors and admins.


Sending documents for signature to your employees

Head to your employee's profile > Documents tab :

  • Click on “Sign the document” : you will be able to pre-visualize it to make sure everything is in order !

  • Select “Send for signature” to directly select this employee as a signatory

  • Select all the employees that have to sign the document (up to 💯!)

  • Choose to invite signatories to sign one after the other. If you tick the option, then the order of signatories chosen will determine the order for signing. The 1st employee on the list will be the 1st to sign.

  • Program or not an automatic reminder after a certain number of days: 1, 7, 14 or 28 days.

You will find the list of documents sent for signature with the list of signatories, the date sent and the status. Once the document has been signed by everyone, you will receive a confirmation e-mail and can download it ! 🥳

Good to know : You can also make the request directly from the HR > Electronic signature tab ! It couldn't be simpler - it's the same procedure !

All you have to do is import the document of your choice beforehand by clicking on "New signature request", name it, add it in PDF or docx format (5 MB max) and assign it to a specific employee or not.


Following up the documents' signature

To follow up on your document, you can check its status :

  • Green / Signed : all signatories have signed the document, you can now download the document

  • Orange / In progress : at least one person still has to sign the document. If you haven’t selected the automatic reminder, click on 🔄 to send another e-mail !

  • Red / Failed : the document has not been sent to the signatory (ie. over max document size). You will have to recreate the document to send it again for e-sign


Canceling the e-signature of a document

If you want to send the document again, or completely cancel it, it’s possible ! 💡

Head to your employee's profile > Documents tab :

  • Open the document to cancel

  • Click on ‘Cancel the signature request’

  • Choose or not to delete it from the employees' profile

  • Confirm

Good to know : You can also cancel the e-signature directly from the HR > Electronic signature tab. It's the exact same procedure !
